Security is strict at every visa application centre in Pakistan. Bags, laptops and most electronics will not come inside, so arrive with a document folder and as little else as possible. Bring cash in rupees for the fees, close to the exact amount.
Counter staff check that your file is complete and correctly ordered. They are not deciding your visa. If something is missing you will be sent away to return with it, which means a new appointment and the queue again.
