United Kingdom Visit Visa from Pakistan

The UK does not use the Schengen document list. There is no fixed checklist published by UKVI, which is why applications from Pakistan are refused on judgement rather than on a missing form.

Family visit applications carry a sponsor evidence burden that most refused files get wrong. The sponsor's finances matter as much as yours.

You pay UKVI directly online before booking biometrics, so the government fee never passes through us.

Documents you need

• Valid Pakistani passport with at least one blank page
• One digital photograph taken at the biometrics appointment
• Bank statement for the last 6 months, stamped by the branch
• Employment NOC with approved leave dates and salary confirmation
• Salary slips or business income evidence for the last 6 months
• Property documents, if you own property in Pakistan
• Sponsor's documents if a UK-based relative is supporting the trip: passport or BRP copy, payslips, bank statements and proof of accommodation
• Invitation letter from the sponsor stating the relationship and the dates
• Copy of CNIC and, where relevant, the family registration certificate
• Travel itinerary and accommodation details

What it costs

• VisaDIY service fee: PKR 14,500. Application completed, documents checked, cover letter and itinerary drafted, appointment tracked, WhatsApp updates.
• Government fee: £135 (about PKR 50,700). £135, converted at the consular rate on the day you pay. The same GBP 135 fee applies to children.

Total via VisaDIY: PKR 65,200 per applicant. We do not mark up government or centre charges.

How long it takes

Decisions typically take 15 working days, stretching to up to 8 weeks in peak season. That clock starts at your appointment, not when you decide to apply, so the queue is usually the longer half of the timeline. Start 8 to 10 weeks before you intend to travel.

Why United Kingdom applications get refused

• Unexplained deposits. A large credit landing in the account shortly before applying, with no explanation of where it came from.
• Weak sponsor evidence. An invitation letter with no payslips, no bank statements and no proof of the sponsor's accommodation behind it.
• Circumstances that do not support return. No employment, no property, no dependants, and no travel history. This is judged as a whole, not line by line.
• Contradictions between the form and the documents. Stated income that does not match the salary slips, or dates that do not match the itinerary.
