Document checklist

• Valid Pakistani passport, issued within the last 10 years, valid at least 3 months past your return date, with 2 blank pages
• Two biometric photographs, 35x45mm, white background, taken in the last 6 months
• Schengen-compliant travel insurance with a minimum of EUR 30,000 medical cover and repatriation, valid in all Schengen states for every day of the trip
• Confirmed return flight reservation, not a paid ticket
• Accommodation booking covering every night of the stay
• Bank statement for the last 6 months, stamped and signed on every page by the branch
• Employment NOC on company letterhead with approved leave dates, or business registration if self-employed
• Salary slips for the last 3 months, or tax return if self-employed
• Copy of CNIC, front and back
• Day-by-day travel itinerary
• Cover letter explaining the purpose of travel and your ties to Pakistan

What is specific to Greece

Greece accepts Pakistani applications in Islamabad only. Lahore and Karachi applicants have to travel for the biometrics appointment, which needs to be planned into the timeline.

Insurance wording is checked carefully, and a policy that names Greece without naming the Schengen area is regularly rejected at the counter.
