Pakistan is not on the visa on arrival list, so the visa has to be issued before travel. A traveller who turns up expecting to buy one at the airport will be refused entry.
The C1 tourist visa is applied for on the official portal at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Third party sites charging a markup are not the issuer.
The e-visa arrives by email as a PDF. It is checked at boarding as well as on arrival, so it has to be carried.

What it costs
- VisaDIY service fee: PKR 10,000. Application completed, documents checked, cover letter and itinerary drafted, appointment tracked, WhatsApp updates.
- Government fee: Rp 1,500,000 (about PKR 23,200). Rp 1,500,000, converted at the consular rate on the day you pay. The same IDR 1,500,000 applies to children.
Total via VisaDIY: PKR 33,200 per applicant. We do not mark up government or centre charges.
How long it takes
Decisions typically take 5 working days, stretching to longer when the file is incomplete in peak season. That clock starts at your appointment, not when you decide to apply, so the queue is usually the longer half of the timeline. Start 3 to 4 weeks before you intend to travel.
Why Indonesia applications get refused
- Applying through an unofficial site. Agents that resell the e-visa add a fee and sometimes submit the wrong visa class.
- Passport validity under six months. Counted from the date of arrival, not the date of application.
- No onward or return ticket. Indonesia asks for evidence of departure.
- Funds not evidenced. A statement that does not show a maintained balance.
How we checked these figures
- verified Government fee. IDR 1,500,000 for the C1 tourist visit visa, stated on the official Indonesian e-visa portal (evisa.imigrasi.go.id), which also gives processing as within 5 working days.
- verified Centre charge. No centre charge. The visa is applied for and paid for on the government portal directly.
Fees are set in foreign currency and converted at the consulate’s own rate on the day you pay, which is not the market rate. Rupee amounts here use a reference rate from 19 August 2026 and will drift.
