Applications are taken in Islamabad only, so applicants from other cities need to build travel into the appointment plan.

The Dutch mission is comparatively fast on decisions once biometrics are done, which makes the appointment queue the whole timeline.

Sponsored visits use a specific declaration form that has to be completed by the sponsor in the Netherlands, not by you.

How we handle your Netherlands application

  1. Tell us the trip. Dates, travellers and purpose, on the web or on WhatsApp in Urdu or English.
  2. Upload your documents. We read your passport automatically and tell you what is missing.
  3. File prepared. Forms completed, cover letter and day-by-day itinerary drafted, documents ordered the way VFS Global expects them.
  4. Case officer review. Every field and every document, checked before anything is submitted.
  5. Appointment tracked. We watch VFS Global availability and message you the moment a date opens.

Documents you need

  • Valid Pakistani passport, issued within the last 10 years, valid at least 3 months past your return date, with 2 blank pages
  • Two biometric photographs, 35x45mm, white background, taken in the last 6 months
  • Schengen-compliant travel insurance with a minimum of EUR 30,000 medical cover and repatriation, valid in all Schengen states for every day of the trip
  • Confirmed return flight reservation, not a paid ticket
  • Accommodation booking covering every night of the stay
  • Bank statement for the last 6 months, stamped and signed on every page by the branch
  • Employment NOC on company letterhead with approved leave dates, or business registration if self-employed
  • Salary slips for the last 3 months, or tax return if self-employed
  • Copy of CNIC, front and back
  • Day-by-day travel itinerary
  • Cover letter explaining the purpose of travel and your ties to Pakistan
We check every document before your appointmentIf something is wrong, you get it in writing with the reason and what to do about it, before you spend the government fee.

What it costs

  • VisaDIY service fee: PKR 30,000. Application completed, documents checked, cover letter and itinerary drafted, appointment tracked, WhatsApp updates.
  • Government fee: €90 (about PKR 28,900). €90, converted at the consular rate on the day you pay. EUR 45 for ages 6 to 12, free under 6.

Total via VisaDIY: PKR 58,900 per applicant. We do not mark up government or centre charges.

How long it takes

Decisions typically take 15 calendar days, stretching to up to 45 days in peak season. That clock starts at your appointment, not when you decide to apply, so the queue is usually the longer half of the timeline. Start 6 to 8 weeks before you intend to travel.

Why Netherlands applications get refused

  • Sponsor declaration missing or unsigned. The Dutch sponsorship form has to come from the sponsor, correctly signed.
  • Main destination rule. Applying to the Netherlands for a trip mostly spent in Germany or Belgium.
  • Funds below the daily threshold. The Netherlands publishes a daily amount. Meet it for every day of the stay.
  • Unverifiable employment. An NOC from a company with no traceable registration or web presence.

How we checked these figures

  • verified Government fee. EU Visa Code short-stay fee (EUR 90 adult / EUR 45 child 6-12 / free under 6), in force since 11 June 2024

Fees are set in foreign currency and converted at the consulate’s own rate on the day you pay, which is not the market rate. Rupee amounts here use a reference rate from 19 August 2026 and will drift.

What we will not doWe do not arrange bank statements, employment letters or property documents, and we will not submit a document we believe is fabricated. A fraud finding follows a passport for years.
