Terms of service
Plain-language terms. The short version: we prepare your file honestly, you give us accurate information, and the consulate decides.
Last updated 19 August 2026
The service
We prepare visitor visa application files. We complete forms, review documents, draft supporting letters, and track appointment availability. A named case officer reviews every file before you submit it.
We are a document preparation service. We are not a law firm, a government agency or a registered migration agent, and nothing we provide is legal advice.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Provide genuine documents that belong to you
- Attend your appointment in person
- Pay government and centre fees directly to those organisations where required
Our responsibilities
- Prepare your file against the current requirement list for the relevant mission
- Tell you in writing about anything in the file we consider a risk
- Charge only the fee quoted, with government charges passed through at face value
- Handle your documents according to the privacy policy
What we do not promise
We do not promise an approval, a processing time, or the availability of any particular appointment. Visa decisions belong entirely to the consulate or immigration authority of the destination country.
Document integrity
We apply the document integrity policy to every file. We may close a file at our discretion under that policy, and we refund the service fee when we do.
Who can use this service
You must be 18 or older to hold an account with us and to enter into these terms.
We prepare applications for travellers of any age, including children, but a parent or legal guardian must hold the account, give the information and accept these terms on the child's behalf. Where a mission requires a guardian's consent or signature, that is the guardian's to give — we cannot provide it.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract under Pakistani law.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it — your account holds identity documents, and that matters more here than on most services.
Do not create an account on someone else's behalf without their knowledge, and do not upload another person's documents unless they have asked you to.
Your documents and how long we keep them
Documents you upload stay private to you and the case officer assigned to your file. We do not sell them, share them with other clients, or use them to train anything.
We keep your file and its documents while your application is active and for 24 months afterwards. We hold them that long because missions and applicants both raise questions about past applications, and a file we have deleted is a file we cannot defend.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. We will do it unless we are legally required to keep a particular record, and we will tell you plainly if that applies.
Our platform
The VisaDIY website, the application flow, our checklists and our guidance are ours. You may use them to prepare your own applications. You may not copy them to run a competing service, resell access, or scrape the site.
Your own information and documents remain yours throughout.
What we are liable for
We are liable for our own work: preparing your file accurately, checking it properly, and handling your documents with care. Where we get that wrong, the refund policy says what we do about it.
We are not liable for a visa decision, for a mission changing its requirements or fees, for an appointment system being unavailable, or for a delay caused by a consulate.
Where we are found liable, our total liability to you is limited to the service fee you paid us for the file in question. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Pakistani law.
Ending the relationship
You can close your account at any time by asking us. Applications already submitted to a mission cannot be withdrawn by us.
We may suspend or close an account where someone submits documents we believe are fabricated, uses the service to prepare applications for others commercially without agreement, or abuses our staff. Where we close a file under the document integrity policy, we refund the service fee.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or a notice in your account at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
The date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad have jurisdiction.
Before either of us goes to court, we agree to try to resolve the matter directly for 30 days. Most things are a misunderstanding that a phone call fixes.
